For
those of you coming from out of town, here are a few
links to help you plan your trip. We have included a
list of local airports
and hotels, as well as some
popular sightseeing spots.
Boston
is beautiful! But if you plan to travel around the city,
we strongly suggest you take advantage of the public
transportation. Parking space in Boston is sparse, expensive
and the streets can be very difficult to navigate. The
'T' (which was the first subway system
created in the United States) is affordable,
convenient, and offers a weekend pass which will let
you ride as many times as you want for a reasonable
fare. Check out the MBTA
website for information on how to obtain passes as well
as maps and schedules for the buses, trains, and commuter
rail.
